Dr. Jeffery J. Dutch
Born in Belfast, Maine, Dr. Dutch attended Appalachian State University from 1969 to 1971. He obtained his Doctor of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in 1975.
Dr. Dutch started private practice in associateship with Everett L. Porter, O.D., in 1975. He became a partner in 1976 and acquired full ownership of the practice in 1987 until present. Providing care for residents of Waldo County in Belfast, Maine has been Dr. Dutch’s concern since starting in practice.
Dr. Dutch is currently affiliated with the American Optometric Association, New England Council of Optometry, and the Maine Optometric Association. His professional volunteer services, past and present, include: Director – Maine Vision Service Plan, Director – Maine Optometric Association, AOA – Political Action Committee, Credentials Chairman - AOA Congress, Diabetic Eye Disease Prevention Program, NEWENCO – 2000 Insight Committee, and Hyman R. Kamens, O.D., Memorial Fund Raiser 2000-2001.
The Belfast Curling Club, Northport Golf Club, and Waldo County Head Start Health Advisory Committee are among Dr. Dutch’s community activities.

Dr. Amy Marnecheck
Dr. Marnecheck attended Juniata College in Huntingdon, Penn., where she received her Bachelor of Science in biology. She obtained a Bachelor of Visual Science and continued on for her Doctor of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1992.
Her professional experience started out with a residency program at the Fort Howard/Baltimore Veterans Administration Medical Centers in Baltimore , MD. Dr. Marnecheck went into private practice with Dr. Margaret Johnson of Springfield, VA and the Optometry Department at Kaiser Permanente in Falls Church, VA. After two years at Maine Coast Eye Care in Rockport, ME, Dr. Marnecheck joined Dr. Dutch in private practice in 1997.
She is a member of the American Optometric Association and has been past treasurer of the Student Council at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Her awards and honors include Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society, Wildermuth Foundation Scholarship and Clinical Honors Professional Practice.
